We work with patients to direct prescriptions to the pharmacy of their choice (or the specialty pharmacy required by their PBM, if relevant). We support all US pharmacies.

Patients have full visibility into the process for each medication with instant notifications when the status of their prescription changes. Our dedicated customer support is available via SMS and phone, guiding patients throughout the process.
How does tandem handle denials?
If a prior authorization request is denied, tandem handles and generates any medical necessity letters and appeals. If a formulary alternative or a step therapy is the best path forward, tandem coordinates directly with the provider office.
